Fleet maintenance should identify reported defects, complete scheduled service and address developing problems before they create avoidable downtime. My Truck Repair Shop provides commercial truck and trailer maintenance and repair at our physical shop in Conway, South Carolina, serving fleets from Conway and the Myrtle Beach area.

Maintenance support based on the actual units

Trucks and trailers have different configurations, duty cycles, mileage and manufacturer requirements. We do not substitute a generic checklist for the fleet’s own maintenance program. Fleet managers can send unit information, requested service and driver-reported defects so the visit is planned around the equipment that is actually arriving.

Truck and trailer fleet services

  • Diesel truck diagnostics and supported repair
  • Commercial trailer diagnostics and repair
  • Filters, batteries and charging-system concerns
  • Brake, tire and exhaust service
  • Electrical and electronic diagnostics
  • DEF, DPF, EGR and SCR troubleshooting
  • Transmission and drivability concerns
  • Truck A/C service
  • Selected body and trim work
  • Programming and calibration support when applicable
  • Thermo King APU and supported climate-control diagnostics

Not every unit needs every service. The final scope is based on the fleet’s request, inspection results, verified faults, parts and approval.

Combine scheduled work with driver-reported defects

A scheduled visit is a useful time to document warning lights, intermittent electrical behavior, changes in braking, unusual tire wear, climate-control faults, trailer-light problems or emissions messages. When a concern requires diagnosis, we document the symptoms, collect relevant fault information, test connected systems and explain the findings before replacing parts.

This matters when diesel, electrical, emissions and software systems overlap. A maintenance appointment should not become a reason to install an unverified component. Exact fault codes, dashboard photos and clear driver notes help the shop begin with better information.

Information that keeps fleet communication organized

  • Fleet and unit number
  • Year, make, model and VIN when parts may be required
  • Requested scheduled services
  • Driver’s description of each defect
  • Warning messages, fault codes, photos or video
  • Recent work on the same system
  • Requested approval contact and communication preference

Timing depends on the diagnostic scope, approved repairs, parts and current shop workload. We do not make a blanket same-day promise; we provide the most realistic information available for the specific unit.

Why shop-based fleet service is usually more efficient

Our Conway facility is the primary location for fleet work. Shop service gives the technician access to diagnostic equipment, tools, stable power and repair options that may not be practical in a parking lot or beside the road. It also reduces the risk of dispatching a mechanic before the necessary parts or repair environment are known.

Limited roadside diagnostics may be available by request, but it is not 24/7 and is not automatically the best value. The roadside call-out starts at $300. If the information suggests that towing a disabled unit to the shop is likely to save time or cost, we explain that before dispatch.

Serving Conway and Myrtle Beach-area fleets

Our only physical shop is 3236 US-701 Hwy, Conway, SC 29526. We serve fleets from Myrtle Beach, Carolina Forest, Socastee, Forestbrook, Aynor and surrounding Horry County communities from this location. Related pages include diesel repair, trailer repair, electrical diagnostics and aftertreatment diagnostics.
